Orange Co., NC, Sarah A. Atkins Will of 1850, Proved 1857

In the name of God amen, I Sarah A Atkins of the county of Orange being 
afflicted in body but of sound mind and memory thanks to Almity God for the 
same, in and through whose merces I hope to be saved and calling to mind the 
uncertainty of this life, do publish this my last will and testament manner 
and form following (to wit

1st after my death and all my Just debts are paid and my body decently buried 
at the discretion of my executors hereafter named I give my sister Elizabeth 
Page wife of Obadiah Page Jn [Jr.?] during here [her] native life and after 
here [her] death to the heirs of her body, all the land that I am possessed of 
in the county of Orrang  All that I give to my sister Elizabeth Page is given 
during her native life and after her death to the heirs of her body

2nd I give to my beloved Mother Martha Hopson wife of Wm Hopson during her 
lifetime and after her death to be Eaqually divided among all of my Sisters, 
all the balance of my estate both real and personal that I may die seized and 
possessed of, and for the setling of my estate I nominate and appoint my 
worthy friend William Hopson my full and sole executor of this my last will 
and testament in testimony whereof I the said Sarah A Atkins have hereunto set 
my hand and affixed my seal the 22 day of January 1850
