Testator: William Brannock

In the name of God Amen I William Brannock of
the County of Orange in the state of Northcarolina being of sound
and perfect mind and memory thanks be to almighty God
for the same ~~~ and Calling to mind that all men are mortal
and Must Die ~~~ do make ordain and constitute this my last
will and Testament in manner and form hereinafter named
and by these presents Revoking all former wills and Legacies
that is to say first I give and bequeath to my soninlaw
David Gilliam the sum of ten Shillings Currency ~~ Secondly
I give and bequeath to my soninlaw William Taylor the sum
of ten shillings Currency thirdly I give and bequeath to
my son William Brannock the sum of ten Shillings Currency
Fourthly I give and bequeath to my son Alexander N Braddock
the sum of two hundred and forty dollars in Cash which said sum
the said Alexander N Brannock has already received and also one
horse named Jim which he has also recd one bed and furniture
and kitchen furniture Fifthly I give and bequeath
to my two daughters Delilah Brannock and Angel M
Brannock my Lands to be Equally divided between them and
should there be any other property on hand after my decease
not above Bequeathed I wish it to be Equally divided
Between my three children Last named in this will ~~~

And I do hereby Constitute and appoint my soninlaw[sic]
Henry Brannock in whom I much confide to be my
Executor to this my last will and testament
Revoking all others in witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and seal this 13th day of January 1830

                      Orange County August Term 1832
The Execution of the foregoing Last Will and Testament ["was" x-out] of
William Brannock was duly proved in open Court by the oath
of Henry Brannock a subscribing witness there to and ordered to
be recorded at the same time Henry Brannock the Executor
therein named appeared in open Court and qualified accordingly
                                  Test
