Last Will and Testament of NICHOLAS PLOWMAN

I, NICHOLAS PLOWMAN, being of sound mind, do herein dictate this my last will 
and testament. To wit~

1st. I devise that whatever debt I have or may have at the time of my death 
together with debts contracted necessary to giving me a decent and respectable 
burial, shall first be paid~

2nd. I give bequeath and (?) to my son, ANDREW PLOWMAN, deed his heirs, all of 
the property for which I am now assessed upon the assessment books of Carroll 
County to wit~A tract of Land of 44 acres more or less being a part of a Tract 
of Land called "PLOWMAN'S RESURVEY" situated in Manchester District, Carroll 
County also I give and bequeath to said ANDREW PLOWMAN all personal property 
situated thereon or all that I own at the time of my decease except the articles 
herein after specified~
This I do in consideration of the affection which he has shown me, and the kind 
care and attention which he has exercised towards me.

3rd. I give bequeath and (?) to my daughter RACHEL EBAUGH
and her heirs, the property for which she has assessed and which she has 
occupied. To wit a tract of Land of 26 acres more or less a part of the said 
"PLOWMAN'S RESURVEY" situated adjoining the above said 44 acres.

4th. I give and bequeath to my grand daughter EMMA PLOWMAN,
one bureau, to my grand daughter, SUSAN PLOWMAN, one Bureau and to my grand 
daughter NANCY PLOWMAN, the bed and bedstead which I now use.

Done this the 4th day of July 1874.
