Will of Elizabeth Bish... Carroll County, Md. Courthouse, Book 2 , Page 494-495
Transcribed by Richard Huneke, October 3, 2004

In the name of God Amen. I Elizabeth Bish of Carroll County in the State of
Maryland, being old and weak in body but of sound mind, memory and
understanding, considering the certainty of death, and the uncertainty of the
time thereof, and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs, and thereby be
the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please Almighty God to
call me hence, do therefore make and publish this my last will and testament in
manner and form following, (that is to say). After the payment of my debts and
funeral charges, I give and bequeath as follows. To wit:

First I order and direct that all my goods and chattles (sic) of every
discription (sic) that I may be seized and possessed of at the time of my death,
I order and direct the same to be sold at public sale, by my Executor hereafter
named, and the collection of my outstanding debts due and owing unto me, on
notes, accounts or otherwise after the payments of my debts and funeral charges
the balance remaining in my Executors hands I give and bequeath the one half
thereof, to my son Daniel Bish and his heirs, and the other one half thereof I
give and bequeath unto my son William Bish and his heirs, that is, to be equally
divided between them, the said Daniel Bish and William Bish, share and share
alike; And lastly I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my son William
Bish sole Executor of this my last will and Testament. In testimony whereof I
have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal, on the 28th day of October
in the year of our Lord 1854.

Signed, sealed, published and declared by Elizabeth Bish as and for her last
