The South Western Farmer 1844

RAIL ROAD PRO TEM.

The subscriber intends to run a wagon from
Raymond to Edwards's Depot regularly for the term of
one year. Persons wishing freight brought out may
depend on receiving it punctually. They will please leave
heir memoranda with G.W. Gibbs. The charges will
be the same that the Rail Road charges from Vicksburg
to Edwards's which will be nearly as low as the charges
formerly on the Rail Road to Raymond. The freight on
a bbl. of Flour from Vicksburg to Raymond will cost five
bits, and all other articles in proportion to rail road charges.
                R.C. HUTCHINSON.
Raymond, Sept. 20, 1844.
P.S. Until the roads get bad, I will haul a few bales
of cotton on the same terms.
