Big Hog Killing

Richard Morris had a good-sized hog killing at his home at Finley last
Thursday. Five fine porkers were slaughtered. He was assisted by several
friends and they also killed and worked up one for Mr. Morris' neighbor,
Joseph Kauffmann, who has been seriously ill with pneumonia. After the killing
all were invited to the dining room to partake of a chicken dinner prepared by
Mrs. Morris, to which it is needless to say, all did ample justice.
