Additional Comments:
Michael Larkin and his wife Bridget Nolan originally lived on Philadelphia in
the Kensington section. In the early 1880's when Bridget Nolans' entire birth
family (5 members) died of various contagious respiratory diseases in a 3 year
period, Michael took Bridget and their children to live "in the country" in
Delaware County to avoid further deaths. He believed there "was something in the
city water" that had killed his in-laws.
