Notice of Inquisition.
Whereas, Robert Bennett, late of Southampton Township, dec'd., died seized of the
following Real Estate to wit: one tract of land situate in Southampton Township,
Bedford County, containing one hundred and twenty five acres and allowance more or
less, adjoining lands of J. Robinett, Altemas Bennett, Abraham Bennett, Basel
Browning and others, about sixty acres cleared and under fence having thereon
erected a story and a half frame house and kitchen adjoining, log barn and spring
house, leaving issue three children viz: Henry, James and Clarissa, the latter a
minor and who has for her guardian Archibald Perdew, Esq.
Notice is therefore, heresy given, that in pursuance of a writ of Partition or
Valuation to me directed I will proceed to hold an Inquisition or Valuation, on the
premises on Wednesday, the 9th day of January 1861, when and where all parties
interested may attend if they see proper.
