Record of the Will of GEORGE SCOTT deceased
I GEORGE SCOTT  of the town of Rushford County of Allegany NY being of sound
mind and memory do make ordain publish and declare this to be my last Will
and Testament that is to say.:

First. After all my lawfull debts are paid and discharged I give devise and
bequeath to my son JOHN S. SCOTT the sum of One Hundred Dollars to be paid
within one year after my decease by my said executor hereinafter named.

Second. I give devise and bequeath to my son DWIGHT SCOTT the sum of Fifty
Dollars to be paid by my executror hereinafter *ach and appointed. 

I give and devise all my real estate and personal property of what nature or
kind soever to my beloved wife MARIAH SCOTT to be used and enjoyed by her
during her natural life and to sell and dispose of all or any of said personal
property for her support and maintance and the proffits of the said real
estate as aforesaid and from and immediately after her decease I give and
devise bequeath and devise all my real and personal estate of what nature or
kind soever to CALVIN SCOTT the executor of this my last will and testament
hereinafter nominated and appointed in trust for the payment of my just
debts and legacies and for and during the natural life of my son WILLIAM
HENRY SCOTT and I do hereby order and direct that during the continuance of
said trust estate as aforesaid  there shall be annually paid out of the net
income and proffits thereof a sum sufficient for the maintainance and
support of the said  WILLIAM HENRY SCOTT or so much thereof as my said
executor shall deem necessary and I hereby empower and authorize my
executor hereinafter appointed that in case in  his opinion said net
proffits was not sufficient to support and maintain the said WILLIAM HENRY
SCOTT at any time my said executor (after the decease of my said wife) shall
deem necessary with power to sell and dispose of  of (sic) the same at
public or private sale at such time or times and upon such time and in such
manner as to him shall seem ****t provided that no part of my real estate as
aforesaid shall be sold at public auction until the expiration of  two years
after my said wifes decease.  

I give and bequeath all the rest residue of my personal estate goods and
chattels of what nature  or kind soever to my said wife MARIAH SCOTT  and all
that remains at her decease to revert to my said son WILLIAM HENRY SCOTT.
And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my son CALVIN SCOTT to be
executor of  this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills
by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 6th day of
January Eighteen Hundred and Seventy Five
GEORGE SCOTT (LS)

The above instrument consisting of one sheet was at the date thereof
subscribed by GEORGE SCOTT in the presence of us and each of us.. He at the
time of making such subscription acknowledged that he made the same and
declared the said instrument so subscribed by him to be his last Will and
Testament whereupon was then and there at his request and in his presence and
the presence of each other subscribe or names as witnesses  thereto.
