Baldwin, William H.           
BERLIN William H. Baldwin, 65, of Plank Road, died on Sunday, September 5,
2004 at Samaritan Hospital. Born in Troy, N.Y. on March 9, 1939, he was the
son of Geneva M. Oatman Cioffi of Berlin and the late Howard Baldwin. He was
of the Roman Catholic faith. Mr. Baldwin was a United States Air Force veteran
serving from 1956 to 1958. He worked as a driver/dispatcher for Black and
White Cab in Troy from 1961 through 1991. Bill was a member of the Cohoes
Moose and a former member of the Watervliet Elks. He bowled in various leagues
at Alpha Recreation Bowling Center in Troy. He was an avid NASCAR fan.
Survivors include his beloved friend Constance Foley; his children, Angelique
(James) Garrity of Saratoga Springs, Wendy (Charles) Oswald of Waterford,
William (Carrie) Baldwin Jr. of Troy, Kelly Baldwin of Albany; grandchildren,
Daniel and Cory Oswald, Jamie Castracani, Colleen Garrity, Rachel and Emily
Baldwin; stepchildren, Robin (Homer) Carter of Troy, Debbie Dobert of
Watervliet, Bonnie (Walter) Mundell of Cohoes, Chuck (Andrea) Dobert of
Beacon, David Dobert of Schenectady; five brothers, Theodore of Waterford,
George and Jack of Fla., Lawrence and James of Stephentown; along with many
nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Howard (Inky).
Funeral services will on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Parker Bros. Memorial,
2013 Broadway, Watervliet. Interment will be private in Memory's Garden.
