Delaney, Dominic M. MALTA Dominic M. Delaney of Stoney Point Road, died Saturday, September 25, 2004 at Saratoga Hospital. He was 65. Born on February 9, 1939 in East Meadow, L.I., N.Y., he was a son of the late James A. and Mary A. (King) Delaney. He served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman and for many years worked as a training specialist with the New York State Power Pool of the Long Island Lighting Company. He was a member of the Church of St. Peter and served as an usher during Sunday morning Masses. He was a third degree member and past grand knight of Saratoga Council 246 Knights of Columbus and also a member of Saratoga Assembly 0745 Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus. His interests included vacations in his motor home and he enjoyed thoroughbred horses. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, James and Thomas Delaney and two sisters, Virginia Marie and Marie Rini. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, Joy (Lansing) Delaney; his children, Dennis (Pam) Delaney of Panama City, Fla., Andrew (Kim) Delaney of Portland, Tenn., Mitchell (Holly) Paurowski of Albany, N.Y., Denise (Dan) Felgentreff of Hoosick Falls, Stacey (Mark) O'Brien of Hoosic, N.Y., Kerry (Chris) Delaney of Clifton Park and Nicole (Jack) Dwyer of Troy, N.Y.; two brothers, Joseph Delaney of N.C., John Delaney of N.J.; five sisters, Margaret Tintle of Burlington, Vt., Roseann Altman, Delores Smith, Barbara deLyra and Anne Kiernan, all of Long Island; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2004 in the Church of St. Peter, 241 Broadway, by the Rev. Robert. Burial will follow in the family plot in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Troy, N.Y. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway, Saratoga Springs (584-5373).
