Conlon, Constance        
TICONDEROGA Constance (Connie) Conlon, 64, entered into eternal life Friday,
September 3, 2004 at Yale Medical Center, New Haven, Conn. Born April 23, 1940
in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Hobart and Angeline (Bessette)
Conlon. She was a graduate of Catholic Central High School and a member of the
Crusaders Alumni Society. She was employed by New York Telephone Company until
1979; she then accepted a management position with AT&T in Altamonte Springs,
Fla. She retired in 1989 after 32 years of service and spent winters at her
home in Kissimmee, Fla. and summers at her cottage on Lake Champlain in the
Adirondacks. Connie was a member of Kissimmee American Legion Ladies Auxiliary
and a charter member of the Ticonderoga Ladies Auxiliary, Fraternal Order of
Eagles and a member of the New York Telephone Company Pioneers. Connie is
predeceased by her sister, Claudia Kittel. Survivors include one brother,
Richard Conlon and his wife Marie of Chestertown; one niece, Karen Turcotte
and her husband Larry of Chestertown; two nephews, Joseph Bevevino of Newport,
R.I., Daniel Kittel and his wife Jennifer of Ypsilanti, Mich.; two great
nephews, Larry and Greg Turcotte; one great niece, Sarah Turcotte, all of
Chestertown; also her dear friend, Betty Carpenter of Cohoes. Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 4 at St. John
the Baptist Catholic Church, Chestertown with Rev. George Fleming officiating.
Interment will be in the Chester Rural Cemetery, Chestertown. Relatives and
friends may call at the church from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. prior to the funeral
service. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society/ Warren County, 959
Rte. 9, Mount Royal Plaza, Queensbury, NY 12804 or American Heart Association
