Margaret Marie Leonard Berenger, father of Charles E. Berenger Jr. of
Clarksville, Richard J. Berenger Sr. and his wife Noreen of Clarksville, and
Elizabeth A. Smith and her husband Robert of Feura Bush. Brother of Dorothy
Kolis and her husband Danny of Fla., Kenneth Berenger and his wife Barbara of
Franklin Square, N.Y., Richard Berenger and his wife Patti of Bardonia, N.Y.,
Marie Makowski of Brooklyn, Frederick Berenger of Ozone Park, N.Y., Karen
Berenger of Brooklyn and the late Edward, Dolores and Harold Berenger.
Grandfather of Michael Smith, Richard Jr., Jamie and Kayla Marie Berenger. He
is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Berenger was a member of Iron
Workers Union Local #12 of Albany and Local #580 of NYC, Bethlehem Lodge #2233
B.P.O.E., Clarksville Community (Reformed) Church, a Navy veteran,
Voorheesvile American Legion Post #1493, the Onesquethaw Fish and Game Club,
and Tadmore Lodge #923 F&AM. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the
Clarksville Community Church. Funeral Service Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at the
church. Interment Onesquethaw Cemetery. Contributions in lieu of flowers may
be made to the Clarksville Community (Reformed) Church, Memorial Fund, P.O.
Box F., Clarksville, NY 12041. The Berenger family would like to thank the
Onesquethaw Rescue Squad and the Community Hospice of Albany for their help
and care.
