Uhrichsville Chronicle
AGED CIVIL WAR VETERAN PASSES AWAY SATURDAY  

Jerry Page, 75, Civil War veteran, died at his home in Lake st., Saturday
morning at 7 o'clock after an illness of several months due to hardening of the
arteries. Jerry Page, son of William and Lydia Page, was born at Roxford, Nov.
1, 1845.  He was united in marriage in 1866 with Miss Harriet Romig, who
preceded him in death seven weeks ago today. He is survived by the following
children:  Horace and Jacob, Dover; James, Davis and Walter; Uhrichsville; Mrs.
Alice Porter, Bridgeport; Mrs. Joseph Geis, Brewster; Mrs. John Dempster and
Mrs. C.E. Biddle, Uhrichsville.  He is also survived by three sisters: Mrs.
Evelyn Rainsberger, Canton; Mrs. Kate Henderson, New Philadelphia; Mrs. Al
Newton, Uhrichsville, and two brothers: Asbury, Uhrichsville, and Mark,
Barnhill. Funeral services will be held at the residence in Lake st., Monday
afternoon at 3 o'clock, with Rev. James McCord, pastor of the Uhrichsville M.P.
church in charge.  Interment in Union Cemetery.
