W. Stevens, in this city, Wednesday, August 3d, 1881, at 2 o'clock p.m., Mr. H. J. Knisely, of Tuscarawas county, O., aged 68 years Oct. 8, 1880. Only a few weeks since he and his wife came to this state on a visit to relatives and to look after his landed interests in this vicinity. The incidents of this life are very mysterious and in this case a man in apparent good health was suddenly stricken down by disease, and altho' he received every attention and the best medical aid, they could not save his life. The immediate cause of his death was congestion of the liver. His remains were put to their rest in the cemetery at this place on Thursday where we learn they will remain until cold weather and then be removed to his former home in Ohio. He was a man held in great esteem among his neighbors at his Ohio home, and had the name of an upright, honest and faithful man. H. J.
