D.W. Johns of Newcomerstown vicinity Called

Daniel Webster Johns, aged 58, a farmer, died Tuesday night at 8:30 o'clock from
complications at his home four miles southeast of Newcomerstown. He had been ill
for a year. He was born and spent practically all of his life in the
Newcomerstown vicinity. Mr. Johns was a member of Kings United Brethren church.
The widow, Margaret, one daughter, Mrs. Rolland Stocker of near Newcomerstown;
his mother, Mrs. Anna Johns of Newcomerstown; two sisters, Mrs. Vinton Gadd and
Mrs. Frank Gadd, both of Newcomerstown, and two brothers, Phillip and Edward,
both of Port Washington, survive. Short funeral services will be held at the
late home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, followed by services at Kings church at
2:30 o'clock. Rev. T.J. Roby will officiate, and burial will be made in the
church cemetery.
