Coshocton Tribune

Mrs. Augusta E. Johns, 81, a native of Newcomerstown and a resident of Dover for
32 years, died at 7:10pm Monday at the home of her son, Ralph M. Johns, 634
South Tuscarawas Ave. Dover, following a three weeks illness of heart trouble.
She was born Nov. 16, 1872, a daughter of Theodore and Alice Mizer Everhart, and
was married to Frank W. Johns, who died in 1938. Mrs. Johns was a member of the
Grace Lutheran church of Dover, Union Bible class of the church, August division
of the church and the Reliable Rebekah lodge of Dover. The survivors are one
son, Ralph, with whom she lived; one brother, V. Clark Everhart, Port
Washington, and a granddaughter. One son and one sister are deceased. Services
will be conducted at 2pm Thursday at the Lewis funeral home in Dover with Rev.
Carl Driscoll in charge. Burial will be in the East Ave. cemetery at New
Philadelphia. The Rebekah lodge will hold rites Wednesday at the funeral home.
