OLDEST DOVER MAN DIES
Rueben Hall, 95, Once Published History of Village

Reuben Hall, born in Dover in 1826 and oldest man living there, died at
his home on Center Ridge road last night.  He had always been prominent
and active in town affairs, and had held practically every public
office.  In 1913 he published a history of Dover.
He was a member of Company I. of the 150th regiment during the Civil
War. He was  also an honorary member of the Old Settler's Association of
Cuyahoga County.
His parents came to Dover in 1821, and settled on what was later named
Hall road.( Reuben, son of Charles and Lucy Seymour Hall, died Nov. 20,
1921. Reuben's first wife was Rebecca Smith and second wife Matilda
