Coshocton Tribune August 6, 1971 
Ralph B. Carr, 66, of Columbus, was pronounced dead on arrival Thursday 
morning at Mount Carmel Hospital, Columbus. Cause of death was not immediately 
determined. Mr. Carr retired from Timken Roller Bearing Co. in Columbus after 
26 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Deaf, and was vice 
president of the Columbus Association of Deaf. Born July 4, 1905, in 
Newcomerstown, he was a son of John and Bertha Fletcher Carr. Surviving are 
his widow, Lillian E.; two sons, Edwin and Glen of Columbus; one daughter, 
Mrs. Kenneth Castle of Columbus, one brother, Kenneth Carr, Zanesville and 10 
grandchildren. Services will be at 10am Monday in the O. R. Woodyard Funeral 
Home, 255 E. State St., Columbus. Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Columbus.
