     In the name of God Amen, the twenty ninth day of November Anno Domini
one thousand seven hundred and eighty five I William Enders of Schohary in the
county of Albany Yeoman considering the frailty of my body the certainty of
death and the uncertain time and minute thereof, but being of sound memory and
mind. Praised be Almighty God Do make this my last Will and testament hereby
revoking and disannulling all former wills and testaments by me heretofore at
anytime made either in word or writing and declaring this only to be my last
Will and testament in manner following.  

     First I bequeath my soul to God who gave it me hoping for the Pardon of
all sins Past thro the merits and mediation of Jesus Christ my body to the
earth to be decently enterred at the discretion of my Executors hereafter
named there to rest in hopes of glorious resurrection and my temporal estate
in the manner following that is to say. I Will that all my just debts be paid
out of my estate. Item I do give unto my eldest son John Enders one Pound
Currant money of the State of New York in right of Premogeniture. 

     Item  I do give devise and bequeath unto my sons John Enders and Jacob
Enders three lotts of lands situate laying across foxes creek knowing by the
names of lotts number one hundred and thirteen number one hundred and fourteen
and number one hundred and sixteen the main or old foxes creek is to be the
devision line between my said two sons to have and to hold the Southerly ends
or parts of the said three lotts unto my said son John Enders his heirs and
assigns forever and to have and to hold the Northerly ends or parts of the
said three lotts unto my said son Jacob Enders his heirs and assigns forever
the main or old foxes creek is to be the devision line between my said two
sons as aforesaid.  

     Item my said son Jacob Enders his heirs or assigns is to keep and
maintain my beloved wife Elisamargrate during the time of her natural life
with sufficient meat drink appaerrel washing and lodging as becominet a woman
in her station but if my said son Jacob Enders his heirs or assigns shall
neglect or may fail in maintaining my said wife as aforementioned then it is
my will that my said wife shall have and hold the lands herein before given
unto my said son Jacob Enders  for her maintenance during the time of her
natural life aforesaid.  

     Item I do give devise and bequeith unto my son Peter Enders to lotts of
land situate laying across Foxes Creek knowing by the names of lotts number
one hundred and eight and number on hundred and nine to have and to hold the
said two lotts of land unto my said son Peter Enders his heirs and assigns
forever.  

     Item I do give devise and bequaeth unto my sons John Enders, Peter
Enders and Jacob Enders all the remainder of my land where it may be or found
and not herein before given and bequaeth to have and to hold all the remainder
of my lands as aforesaid unto my said sons John Enders Peter Enders and Jacob
Enders their respective heirs and assigns each an even and equal share and
portion of the same forever.  

     Item it is my will and order that my said three sons John Enders, Peter
Enders and Jacob Enders their heirs, Executors or Administrators shall pay the
following sums of money in  .? To (wit) unto my son William Enders his heirs
or assigns the sum of forty pounds, currant money of the State of New York ten
years after my decease. Unto my daughter Maria her heirs or assigns the sum of
thirty pounds currant money of the State of New York ten years after my
decease unto my daughter Elisabeth her heirs or assigns the sum of thirty
pounds currant money of the State of New York ten years after my decease unto
my daughter Margrita her heirs or assigns the sum of thirty pounds currant
money of the State of New York ten years after my decease. Unto my daughter
Christina her heirs or assigns the sum of thirty pounds currant money of the
State of New York ten years after my decease. Unto my daughter Anna her heirs
or assigns the sum of thirty pounds currant money of the State of New York ten
years after my decease. Unto my grantson Adam Enders son of my son William
Enders his heirs or assigns the sum of four pounds currant money of the State
of New York six years after my decease. And unto my grantson Wilhelmus son of
my son William Enders his heirs or assigns the sum of six pounds currant money
of the State of New York six years after my decease. 

     Item my sons John Enders, Peter Enders and Jacob Enders their heirs
Executors or Administrators shall pay all my just debts.  

     Item I do give and bequath unto my son Peter Enders his heirs or assigns
one horse and one mare forever. 

     Item I do give and bequath unto my son Jacob Enders his heirs or assigns
one horse and one mare Forever. 

     Item I do give and bequath unto my sons John Enders, William Enders,
Peter Enders and Jacob Enders all my horses herein before not given away all
my farmers utensels and all my carpenders tools their heirs or assigns each an
even and equal share and portion of the same forever. 

     Item I do give and bequath all and singular the remainder of my
personall estate whatever unto my well beloved wife Elisa Margrate her heirs
and assigns forever.  

     Lastly I do nominate constitute and appoint my loving sons John Enders
and Peter Enders the sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament.  In
Testimoney whereof I have signed sealed published and declared this to be my
last will and testament in the Presence of the Witnesses subscribing hereunto
in my presence William his X mark Enders L.S. Signed sealed Published and
declared by the Testator to be his last Will and testament in the Presence of
us who sign as witnesses hereunto in the Testators Presence.  Peter Snyter Jr.
Pitter Mann Junr, Peter Vroman Albany County ss:  

     Be it Remembered that on this sixteenth day of February in the year of
our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eight six Personally came and appeared
before me Jno DePeyster Doww one of the Surrogates of the said County Peter
Snyder Jnr. and Peter Mann Jnr. of Schohary District in the said County
farmers and being duly sworn on their oaths declared that they and each of
them did see William Enders sign and seal the Preceding written instrument
purporting to be the will of the said William Enders bearing date the twenty
ninth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and
eighty five and heared him publish and declare the same as and for his last
Will and testament that at the time thereof he the said William Enders was of
sound disposing mind and memory to the best of the knowledge and belief of
them the Deponents and that Peter Vrooman together with the Deponents
subscribed the said will as Witness thereto in the Testators Presence.

     The People of the State of New York by the grace of God Free and
Independent to all to whom these presents shall come or may concern Send
Greeting. Know Ye that at Albany County on the sixteenth day of February John
DePeyster Doww Esquire thereunto by us delegated and appointed the last will
and testament of William Enders deceased (a copy where of is hereunto annexed)
was Proved and is now approved and allowed of by us and the said deceased
having whilst he lived and at the time of his death goods, Chattels or Credits
within this State by means where of the Proving and registering the said Will
and the granting Administration of all and singular the said goods Chattels
and Credits and also the auditing allowing and final discharging the account
thereof doth belong unto us.  The Administration of all and singular the goods
chattels and Credits of the said deceased and any way concerning his Will is
granted unto John Enders and Peter Enders the Executors in the said Will
named, they being first duly sworn well and faithfully to Administer the same
and to make and exhibit a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the
goods Chattels and Credits and also to render a just and true account thereof
when thereunto required.  In Testimony where of we have caused the seal of our
Court of Probates to be hereunto affixed Witness Thomas Tredwell Esquire Judge
of our said court at the City of New York the ninth day of March in the year
of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eight six.
