The Last Will of Jacob Enders recorded the 4 Febuary 1790
In the name of God Amen the Twentyeth day of December Anno Domini one Thousand
Seven hundred and Eighty five I Jacob Enders of Schohary in the County of
Albany yeoman Considering the frailty of my body the certainty of Death and
the uncertain time and minute thereof but being of Sound memory and mind
praised be almighty god do make this my last will and testament hereby
revoking and Disanulling all former wills and Testaments by me heretofore at
any time made Either in word or writing and Declaring this only to be my last
will and Testament in manner following first I bequeath my Soul to god who
gave it to me hoping for the pardon of all Sins past thro the merits and
mediation of Jesus Christ my body to the Earth to be Decently enterred at the
discretion of my Executors hereafter named there to rest in hopes of glorious
Ressurection and my Temperall Estate in the manner following that is to say I
will that all my Just Debts be paid out of my Said Estate
Item I do give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Maria all and Singular my
Estate real and personall during the time she shall remain my widow that is to
say the Possession mean proffits and Rents thereof during the time aforesaid
She making no waste th(?)
Item I do give unto my Eldest Son Jacob Enders eight Shillings Currant money
of the State of New York in Right of primogeniture-----
Item I do give devise and bequeath all my Lands and real Estate situate lying
and being in the County of Montgomery after my said wifes decease or
remarriage unto my Son Jacob Enders to have and to hold the Said Land and real
Estate with the right and Title so as it is Conveyed from adam Tielli to me
unto my Said son Jacob Enders his heirs and assigns for ever on Condition my
son Jacob Enders his heirs Executors or administrators Shall pay after my Said
wifes decease or remarriage unto my Daughter Maria her heirs and assigns the
Sum of one hundred pounds Currant Lawfull money of the State of New York in

Item I do give devise and bequeath all and Singular the remainder of my Lands
and real Estate whatsoever after my Said wifes decease or remarriage unto my
Sons Peter Enders and Johannes Enders to have and to hold the said remainder
of my Lands and real Estate with all the right and Title thereof unto my said
Sons Peter Enders and Johannes Enders their Respective heirs And assigns Each
and Even and Equall Share and portion of the Same for Ever on Condition my
said Sons Peter Enders and Johannes Enders their heirs Executors and
administrators Shall pay after my said wifes decease or remarriage unto my
Daughters Christina and Margrita their heirs and assigns the Sum of two
hundred pounds Currant Lawfull money of the State of New York in (can't read
word) that is to say my said Son Peter Enders his heirs Executors and
administrators Shall pay unto my said daughter Christina her heirs or assigns
the sum of one hundred pounds the one half thereof and my said son Johannis
Enders his heirs Executors and administrators shall pay unto my said daughter
Margrita her heirs and assigns the Sum of one hundred pounds the other half
thereof
Item I do give and bequath unto my Daughter Christina Maria and Margrita their
heirs and assigns after my said wifes decease or Remarriage all my beds and
beding and all other my household furniture all my horn Cattle all my Sheep
and all my wifes apparell Each an Even Share and portion of the Same for Ever
Item I do give and bequeath after my said wifes decease or Remarriage unto my
Daughter Margrita her heirs and assigns one young mare.
Item I do give and bequath all and Singular the remains of my Parsonall Estae
whatsoever after my said wifes decease or Remarridge unto my Sons Peter Enders
and Johannes Enders their Respective heirs and assigns each an Evan and Equal
Share and portion of the Same for ever
Lastly I do nominate Constitute and appoint my loving Sons Jacob Enders
Peter Enders and Johannes Enders the Sole Executors of this my last will and
Testament In Testimony whereof I have Signed Sealed published and declared
this to be my Last will and Testament in the presence of the Witnesses
Subscribing hereunto in my presence the word (her heirs and assigns) between
the thirty first and second line on the other side interlined before Execution

Be it remembered that on the fourth Day of February in the year of our
Lord on thousand seven Hundred and ninety personally appeared before me
Abraham G. Lansing Esq. Surrogate of the County aforesaid Peter Sidnich and
Jost Sidnich of Schoharie in the said County Farmers who being duly sworn on
their oaths declared that they respectively did see Jacob Enders late of
Schoharie aforesaid deceased sign and Seal this Instrument in writing
purporting to be the last Will and Testament of the said Jacob Enders and
heard him publish and declare the same as and for his Last will and Testament
that at the Time thereof he the said Jacob Enders was of sound mind memory and
understanding to the best knowledge and belief of these deponents that their
names subscribed to the said will are respectively of their own proper Hand
writing and that they did see Peter Vrooman the other witness to the said will
subscribe his name as a witness thereto in the presence of the Testator And
also Jacob Enders Peter Enders and Johannis Enders the Executors of this said
will named likewise appeared before me on the same Day above written and were
respectively duly sworn to the faithful performance and Execution of this said
Will by taking the usual oath as Executors

To all to whom these presents shall come or may
Concern Send Greeting
Know Ye that at the City of Albany in the County of Albany on the fourth day
of this Instant February, before Abraham G. Lansing Esq. Surrogate of our said
County, the last will and Testament of Jacob Enders deceased (a copy whereof
is hereunto annexed) was proved and is now approved and allowed of by us. And
the said deceased, having whilst he lived and at the Time of his death Goods
Chattels or Credits within this State. By means whereof the proving and
registering the said will and the granting administration of all and Singular
the said Goods, Chattels and Credits of the said deceased and any way
concerning his will is granted unto Jacob Enders Peter Enders and Johannis
Enders the Executors in the said will named they being first duly sworn will
and faithfully to administer the same and to make and exhibit a true and
perfect Inventory of all and Singular the said Goods Chattels and Credits and
also to render a Just and true Account thereof when thereunto required. In
Testimony whereof we have caused the Seal of office of our said Surrogate to
be hereunto affixed Witness Abraham G. Lansing Esquire Surrogate of the said
County at the City of Albany the fifth Day of February in the year of our Lord
one Thousand Seven Hundred and Ninety and of our Independence the Fourteenth.
