Casale, Marie (Fennelly)             
TROY Marie A. Fennelly Casale, 69, of Troy, died suddenly on Sunday, September
19, 2004 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany. Born in Troy, she was the daughter
of the late Thomas and Mary Flood Fennelly and wife of Nicholas M. Casale.
Mrs. Casale was educated in St. Mary's School and was a graduate of Catholic
Central High School, class of 1953. Prior to her retirement, she was employed
by Rensselaer County, Bureau of Finance for over 20 years. Marie was a
communicant of St. Mary's Church and a member of St. Mary's Altar Rosary
Society, a member of United Public Service Employees Union #424, and was an
avid reader to her grandchildren, a museum visitor, and most of all, she was
totally devoted to her family. Survivors in addition to her husband Nick,
include her four daughters, Joanne (David) Bonesteel of Brunswick, Mary
Robinson of Loudonville, Maureen (Mario) Mainella of Colonie and Donna
(Gennaro) Sposito of Latham. She was the grandmother of Alyssa Bonesteel,
Lauren and Kyle Robinson, Francesca and Stefano Mainella and Adriana and Lena
Sposito; she was the sister of James P. Fennelly of Wynantskill and the late
Thomas and John Fennelly. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews,
cousins and many beloved friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday
morning at 11:00 from the John H. Clinton Funeral Home, Washington Park and
Third St., Troy and at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Troy. Calling hours
will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home, 4 to 8 p.m. Contributions can
