Bradway, Earl         
SAND LAKE Earl Jack Bradway, 57, of Taborton Rd., died on Friday, September
24, 2004 at Albany Memorial Hospital after a long illness. Born in Troy, he
was the son of the late Sylvester J. and Marjorie Willbrant Bradway and
husband of Rosemary Geerholt Bradway. Jack had resided in the Hoags
Corners-Sand Lake area his entire life and had attended the Averill Park
Schools. Jack had retired in 2003 from the Town of Sand Lake Highway
Department, where he had been a truck driver and operator for 13 years. He had
previously worked for the towns of Lebanon, Nassau and Rensselaer Co. Highway
Department. Jack was an avid hunter. Survivors in addition to his wife include
his children, Denise Reed of Valley Falls, Darlene Bradway of Watervliet,
Heather Stone of Troy, Earl Bradway Jr. and Justin Bradway, both of Sand Lake;
his step-children, Brenda Saunders of Berlin, Keith Houston of Averill Park,
Gail Harte of Granville, Lyle Houston of Watervliet and Lori Safford of
Wynantskill; a brother, Edward Bradway of East Nassau; a sister, Janet Murphy
of Schodack and several grandchildren. Funeral Tuesday 10 a.m. at the
Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel, 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake, Averill Park. Relatives
and friends are invited and may also call at the chapel on Monday 4-8 p.m.
Interment, Dutch Church Cemetery, Berlin. If desired, donations in memory of
Earl Jack Bradway may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501
St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
