Cooper, Marion H.          
GLENVILLE Marion H. Cooper, died Wednesday, September 22, 2004. She was born
March 27, 1905 in Fall River, Mass. to Walter G. and Mary Ann Hallworth.
Educated in Durham, N.H. and graduated High School of Commerce, Worcester,
Mass. She married Chester H. Cooper on September 7, 1929. They lived in
Worcester and Longmeadow, Mass. and retired to South Yarmouth, Mass. 30 years
ago. Mr. Cooper predeceased her in April, 1993. Marion was a very active
member of Church Choirs, member of the Order of Eastern Star for 65 years, the
oldest active member of St. Thomas Church and also various drama clubs. She is
survived by her son, Richard A. Cooper (wife Joan) of Glenville, N.Y.;
daughter, Jane C. Salisbury of Mamaroneck, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Robert A.
Cooper (wife Laurie) of Glenville, Deborah Pearson (husband Robert) of Port
Jervis, N.Y., Cynthia DeMaula (husband Benny) of New Rochelle, N.Y., Lynn
Dahlgren of St. Johnsville, N.Y. and William R. Salisbury (wife Susan) of
Brewster, N.Y.; 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson,
Jeffrey Cooper. Visitation Monday 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the St. Thomas
Church Chapel (lower building). Funeral service will follow at St. Thomas
Church at 1 p.m. On Tuesday, a visitation will be held from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
at the Hallett Funeral Home, 273 Station Avenue in South Yarmouth, Mass.
followed by an interment service at the Ancient Cemetery in Yarmouth. In lieu
of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
