D'Amico, Beverly B.             
ALBANY Beverly B. Cook D'Amico, 87, passed away on Saturday, September 18,
2004 at the Glendale Nursing Home in Glenville. She was born on May 24, 1917
in Hydeville, Vt. to the late Arthur B. and Josephine C. Corery Cook. Mrs.
D'Amico worked as a secretary for the Delaware & Hudson Railroad in Albany for
34 years before retiring in 1976. She was a resident of the Capital District
for most of her life. Her ever present sweetness, kindness and gentle spirit
shall always be remembered and endure forever. Mrs. D'Amico is survived by her
son, Derrick A. D'Amico of Schenectady; a sister, Jacqueline Sober of Clifton
Park; her grandchildren, Samuel and Alexander; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Peter J. D'Amico and brothers, Arthur and
Donald Cook. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 9:00 at the
New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt.
155-south of Central Ave.) then to St. Patrick's Church, Albany at 10:00 a.m.
where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be on
Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment, Memory's Garden.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne
Road, Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Beverly B. D'Amico.
