Samuel J. Woolever of Van Etten

John Woolever, the father of deceased, residing in town of Van Etten
consistute all the heirs at law and next of kin.

In the name of God, Amen

I, Samuel J. Woolever, of Van Etten Chemung County, N.Y. being of sound mind
and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this frail and transitory
life, do therefore make, ordain, pubilsh and declare this to be my Last Will
and Testament, that is to say:

First, after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged, I give and
bequeath to my dear wife Mattie Woolever all my real and personal property
to have and to hold for her own use forever.

Likewise, I make constitute and appoint my dear wife Mattie Woolever to be
executrix of this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all former
wills by me made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal
the twentyeth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and seventy eight.

Hala barns, residing at Van Ettenville, N.Y.
Clarence H. Ward, residing at Van Ettenville, N.Y.

Fay Woolever of said County being duly sworn says that as agent for Mrs.
Mattie Woolever, the executrix named in the above entitled will of Samuel J.
Woolever, deponent has made diligent efforts to find the whereabouts of
Clarence H. Ward, one of the subscribing witnesses to the said will of the
said Samuel J. Woolever, now here in Court that deponent has been unable by
his most diligent efforts to find the present residence or whereabouts of
the said Clarence H. Ward, and deponent verily believes that the said
Clarence H. Ward, is not now in the State of New York or resident thereof,
even if he be living which deponent has been unable to ascertain by the most
diligent effort.
