THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF
ANDREW S. BALDWIN


Know all men by these presents that I Andrew S. Baldwin of the town of Mundy
in the county of Genesee and State of Michigan considering the uncertainty of
this life and being of sound mind and memory to make declare and publish this
my last will and testament.

First. I give and bequeath unto my beloved brother John S. Baldwin sixty acres
of land on the east part of the Northeast quarter of Section thirty three Town
six North of Rand Six East and one half of the barn & on half of the barnyard
on said described piece or parcel of land. Provided that my said brother John
S. Baldwin shall pay to my beloved sister Hellen M. Baldwin the following
described sums of money that is to say. Four Hundred Dollars in five years
after my decease and the further sum of One Hundred and fifty Dollars in July
1865.

Second. I give and bequeath to my beloved brother Henry C. Baldwin twenty
acres of land on the West part of the East half of the Northeast quarter of
Section thirty-three Town Six North of Range Six East and twenty acres of land
off from the East part of the West half of the Northeast quarter of section
thirty three Town Six North of Range Six East not willed to my brother John S.
Baldwin and I do further will to my brother Henry C. Baldwin the one half of
the Barn & one half of the barnyard and the dwelling house now situated on the
part that I have herein willed to my brother John S. Baldwin and the privilege
of the land in from of said dwelling house and the cellar built at the West
end of said dwelling house so long as siad dwelling house and cellar shall
stand.

Provided that my brother Henry C. Baldwin shall pay the following sums of
money that is to say the sum of One hundred dollars in the month of July A.D.
1865 to my sister Hellen M. Baldwin and the further sum of forty dollars to
John Beckwith in the month of August A.D. 1863: and I do further will and
bequeath to my brother Henry C. Baldwin one sow and four pigs and one cutter
or one horse sleigh.

Third. And I give and bequeath to my beloved sister Abby Ann Beckwith four
hundred dollars out of real estate in the town of Southport, Chemung County,
State of New York which will come to m at the decease of my mother Anna
Baldwin and I hereby direct that the sum of four hundred dollars shall be paid
to my sister Abby Anna Beckwith when said estate shall come into the
possession of the heirs of my mother Anna Baldwin and the remainder of said
estate if there should be any after paying to my sister Abby Ann Beckwith four
hundred dollars to be equally divided between my two brothers John S. Baldwin
and Henry C. Baldwin.

Fourth. I do nominate and appoint my brother Henry C. Baldwin to be the
executor and administrator of my last will and testament in the presence of
the witnesses named below this 25th day of February in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and sixty three.

To Henry C. Baldwin of said County GREETING:

Whereas Andrew S. Baldwin lately departed this life testate being at the or
immediately previous to his death an inhabitant of the County of Genesee and
having while he lived and at the time of his decease estate within said County
of Genesee to be administered and

Whereas at a session of said Probate Court holden at Flint in said county on
the 3rd day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
sixty three the last will and testament of said deceased a copy whereof is
hereto annexed was duly proved approved and allowed and wherein you are
appointed executor thereof, whereby the power of committing administration and
full disposition of all and singular the goods, chattels, rights, credits and
estate whereof the said deceased died possessed in the state of Michigan and
also hearing examining and allowing hte account of such administrator doth
appertain unto me that you have given a bond in the premises which as been
duly approved and filed as required by law in that behalf.

Now, Therefore, Trusting in your care and fidelity I do by these presence
commit unto you the said Henry C. Baldwin full power and authority to
administer and faithfully dispose of according to law all and singular the
good, chattels, rights, credits and estate of said deceased within the State
of Michigan which shall at any time come to your possession or to the
possession of any other person for you and to ask, gather, levy, recover and
receive all the goods, chattels, rights, credits and estate whatsoever of said
deceased which to him while he lived and at the time of his death did belong
and to pay and discharge al debts, legacies and charges chargeable on the same
of such dividends thereon as shall be ordered and decreed by said court,
hereby requiring you to make and return to said court within three months a
true and perfect inventory of all the goods, chattels, rights, credits and
real estate of said deceased which shall come to your possession or knowledge
or to the possession of any other person for you and also to render a just and
true account of your administration to said court within one year and at any
other time when required by said court and to perform all orders and decrees
of said court by you to be performed in the premises.

IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and the seal of said Probate
Court at the City of Flint, the 3rd day of June in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and sixty three.

In the matter of the proving of the last will and testament of Andrew S.
Baldwin, deceased.

Nathaniel W. Selden on being sworn says that he resides in the Town of Mundy
Genesee County and he was acquainted with the deceased and he also lived in
said town and county and there died. On being shown the writing purporting to
be the last Will and I saw deceased sign his name and that he signed it at the
same time and in the presence of deceased and at his request and the deceased
published it to be his last will and testament and that deceased was of sound
and sane mind.

I have compared the foregoing copy fo Will and Letters Testamentary and Proof
on admission of will In the Matter of the Estate of Andrew S. Baldwin,
deceased with the original record thereof, now in said Probate Office, and
have found the same to be a correct transcript therefrom, and of the whole of
such original record.

In testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my had and affixed the seal of said
Probate Court at the City of Flint, this 2nd day of April A.D. 1919.

Court of the County of Genesee is a court of record, duly constituted such by
the laws of this state; that as such it is required to keep a seal and a
record of its proceedings; that is has jurisdiction in the settlement of
estates of deceased persons, in the proving of wills, and in the issuing of
letters testamentary and of guardianship; that Jon C. Graves is Judge of said
Court, and is authorized by the laws of this state to appoint a Register of
Probate; that the seal attached to the certificate of exemplification of
record of the annexed papers is the genuine seal of said Probate Court; and
that the exemplification is in due form and by the proper officers, whose
