SELMA H. SHULMAN
"Sally" Shulman of Elmira, N.Y. died Sunday, Nov. 26, 2000 after an extended
illness. She was 78. Mrs. Shulman was born Aug. 27, 1922 in Elmira to the
late David and Ida (Levine) Kaplow. She was a graduate of Elmira Free
Academy and attended Elmira College. An avid gardener, she loved fine arts.
Mrs. Shulman is survived by her husband of 59 years Gary (Garson) Shulman;
daughter and son-in-law June and Joe Getraer of Greens Farms; sons and
daughters-in-law, Richard and Kathryn Shulman of St. Paul, Minn., James
"Ike" and Margaret Shulman of San Jose, Calif.; grandchildren Andrew and
wife Jean Getraer of Wellesley, Mass., Patrick Shulman of San Jose, Calif.,
Deanna Shulman of St. Paul, Minn.; great grandchildren Sandy, Alec, Benjy
and Lindsay Getraer; sister and brother-in-law Muriel and Irv Appel of
Emira; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2000 at 11 a.m. in Franklin
St. Cemetery, Emira, N.Y. Rabbi Richard Leibowitz officiated. Those wishing,
