FORMER THOMASTON WOMAN DIES 

The body of Mrs. Jane Battle who died a few days ago in
Eatonton, was brought to Thomaston Thursday night for
burial, the funeral being held from the home of Mr. J. A.
Thurston Friday morning at 10 o'clock.

Mrs. Battle formerly lived in this community and is well
remembered by many. she was the Mother of Mrs. Leila B.
Matthews. The deceased was 85 years of age.
