BARRON, William Hartley Barron, age 61, died December 8, 1974

Thomaston Times, Thursday, December 12, 1974:

Barron Rites Tuesday

Funeral services for Hartley Barron, 61, were held
Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. from the First Presbyterian
Church with Rev. W.R. Conine officiating and
assisted by Rev. W.C. Bowen. Interment was in
Southview Cemetery with Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home
in charge of arrangements.

Knoxville, Tennessee.

He served on the city council of Thomaston from 1961
through 1968 and his political career was unusual in

served on the Board of Deacons there.
