from Futhey and Cope's THE HISTORY OF CHESTER COUNTY (1881);

William Calvert, of Quaker parentage, came from Carlisle, in Cumberland, some 
time prior to 1759, and was for 2 or 3 years a member of Kennet MM, whence he 
removed to Philadelphia.
