LEAHEY - BUDOCK

Miss Dorothy E. Budock, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Budock of 726 William Penn 
highway, Cresson, became the bride of Leonard G. Leahey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Brady 
P. Leahey of 405 Portage street, Lilly, on Saturday morning, in the historical St. 
Aloysius Catholic church at Summit.  A nuptial high mass, which followed the wedding, 
was performed by Rev. Father Innocent A. Strittmatter, pastor of the parish.  Rev. 
Father Aloysius J. Chervenak of Portage, served as deacon and Rev. Father Crowley 
of Wilmore, as sub-deacon.  Attending the young couple were Miss Mary Huber of 
Cresson, a close friend of the bride, and Norbert Leahey of Lilly, a brother of the 
bridegroom, as best man.  A wedding breakfast was served to immediate members of 
both families, friends and relatives immediately after the ceremony at the Summit 
Country club.  The bride is a graduate of Mount Aloysius academy and Mount Aloysius 
Junior college.  Her husband is a graduate of Lilly High school and served with the navy 
during World war II, spending a portion of his naval career in the Pacific theatre of  
operations.  He is now completing his college education, which was interrupted during 
the war, at St. Francis college, Loretto.
