COUPLE WED IN SUMMER RITES

The marriage of Miss Rosemary Ghantous, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex
Ghantous of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, and Donald Rice Robinson, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas James Robinson of Bellwood, took place on
Saturday afternoon, July 10, at three o'clock in the Reunion
Presbyterian church, Mount Pleasant. Reverend J. E. Hartman, pastor of
the church, performed the ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of nylon
marquisette fashioned with Bishop sleeves and a Cathedral train.
Trimming of Chantilly lace formed fans on the shoulders and through the
skirt. Her finger-tip veil of illusion fell from a small bonnet. She
carried white gladioli and lilies of the valley.
Mrs. John VanDertholen, of Cleveland, Ohio, was the matron of honor.
She wore a gown of pale blue marquisette over matching rayon taffeta,
with tight fitting bodice, an off-the-shoulder neckline, and caped
sleeves. She wore a marching headband and carried a cascade of yellow
and white daisies.
The bridesmaids were Miss Dorothy Curry, aunt of the bride of
Johnstown, Miss Anne Joyce Eichorn of New Brunswick, New Jersey, and
Mrs. Glen E. Orndorf of Lancaster. They wore the same type and color
of gown and the same kind of headband as the matron of honor. Their
bouquets were of cascading yellow daisies.
Mr. Robert Cornmesser, of Bellwood, served as best man. The ushers
included Mr. Edward Ghantous, brother of the bride, Mount Pleasant, Mr.
William Rombach, Philadelphia, and Mr. Glen Orndorf, Lancaster.
Mrs. Ghantous wore a gown of navy blue summer crepe trimmed with
Chantilly lace and her corsage was of white roses. The bridegroom's
mother was in beige crepe and she had a corsage of pink roses.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Pleasant Valley Country
Club. After the wedding trip to the east coast, the couple will reside
in Reading.
