In the name of God amen. I Abel Fisher Senior of the township of Ligonier
in Westmoreland County and the State of Pennsylvania being of advanced age
and infirm in body but of sound mind, memory and understanding (blessed be
almighty God for the same) and considering the uncertainty of this mortal
life do make and publish this my last will and testament in form and manner
following vis first. I allow my body to be buried in a decent becoming and
Christian like manner and after my decease I do order and allow that all of
my just debts be paid as soon as the condition of my affairs will admit.
And as relates to what property I have been blessed within this world I do
order and allow that it be disposed of as follows. I give and bequeath to
my niece Mary McDowel ninety acres of the plantation or tract of land
whereon I now reside and the same held in common with my brother Mathias
and myself containing altogether two hundred and eighty two acres. The said
ninety acres to be struck off the south west side or part of the whole
adjoining the heirs of Michael Fry lands of James Campbell and lands of
George Kern to be enjoyed by her the said Mary McDowel her heirs and
assigns forever.And the balance of my right title interest and claim of in
and to said land I bequeath to my nephew Abel Fisher his heirs and assigns
forever. And I also give and bequeath to my said niece Mary McDowel the
whole of all my personal estate of what kind soever. And I do further allow
that the said Mary McDowel have equal privilege of the first produced from
the orchard heretofore known by the name of my orchard. And I do nominate
and appoint Mathias McDowel Executor of this my last will hereby revoking
all former wills by me made. In witness whereof I have hereunto let my hand
the 9th day of December AD 1833.

The above will signed by Abel Fisher as his last will in our presence and
we being and signing as witnesses in the presence of each - John Clark,
David Boucher, Saml Austraw. Legally proved and approved this 18th day of
August AD 1838. Same day as recorded.
