Will of William Beatty, Derry Township, Latrobe. Westmoreland County, PA.
Will Legally Proved July 20, 1880

In the Name of God, Amen. I, William Beatty, of Derry Township, County of
Westmoreland, and State of Pennsylvania, being sick and weak in body, but of sound
mind, memory, and understanding (praise be to God for it), and being desirous to
settle my wordly affairs, while I have strength and capacity so to do, do make and
publish this my last will and testament, in manner following
First and principally, I commend my soul to the hands of Almighty God who gave it,
and my body to the earth, and as to such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased
God to entrust me, I dispose of the same as follows:
I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Rebeccah Beatty, for and during her life,
all my measurage, lands and tenements and her residence, situated and lying on
Ligonier Street, in the Borough of Latrobe, County of Westmoreland, and State of
Pennsylvania, containing twenty five thousand feet of ground with a two story brick
dwelling house thereon erected, also my frame dwelling house and lot situate in the
Bronker plan of lots in Derry Township, Westmoreland County,
Also all my goods, chattels and merchandise and household furniture. And at any time
should it become necessary to sell a part or whole of my estate for the support or
maintenance of my beloved wife, she shall sell as much of it as will be necessary
for that purpose, and should there be any money or property left at the death of my
beloved wife, I will that it shall go to my niece, Alda May Williams
And I nominate and appoint my said wife and Alexander S. Hamilton executors of this,
my last will and Testament, In witness whereof, I, the Testator (William Beatty)
have set my hand and seal the 26th day of May, A.D.1880 William Beatty

Witnesses A.S. Hamilton Benjamin Simpson
