In the Name of God Amen, I Esther CRAIG of the Township of 
Derry, County of Westmoreland and Commonwealth of 
Pennsylvania, being weak of body, but sound of mind and 
memory, calling to mind the uncertainty of life and the 
certainty of death, do make this my last Will and Testament, 
and first I Recommend my soul unto God who gave it, and my 
body to the Earth to be buried in a Christian manner at the 
Direction of my Executor and as for my worldly Estate I do 
hereby dispose of it in manner following viz.  First, I 
order all my Just debts and funeral charges to be paid, 
after which I give and Bequeath unto my honoured Mother Mary 
THOMSON, one (?) [corner of page torn off] of Cotton 
stockings, one pair of wooling (ds.?) one pair of silk mitts 
and one black silk handkerchief I give and bequeath unto my 
Sister Jane McCONAUGHEY, a black silk Cloak.  I give and 
bequeath unto my sister Rosanna (DRUMMOND?) one (?) Calico 
Gown and one white Cambrick Gown.  I give and bequeath unto 
my sister Martha THOMSON one (Crape?) Gown, and one light 
Calico Gown. I give and bequeath to my sister Mary THOMSON, 
one white muslin Shawl, and all the remaining part of my 
clothes I order to be divided Equally among my three eldest 
sisters.  I give and bequeath unto my Niece Mary McCONAUGHEY 
my Riding saddle, spinning wheel and Cloak.  I give and 
bequeath unto my Niece Esther McCONAUGHEY one Feather Bed, 
two fine sheets (Muslin) two coarse (ds.?) three blankets 
one coverlid and quilt, one Bureau, and all the remainder of 
my estate whatsoever I will and order to be disposed of for 
the use and benefit of my Brother Robert McCONAUGHEY, and 
Lastly I do nominate constitute and appoint him, my said 
Brother Robert McCONAUGHEY sole Executor of this my last 
Will and Testament Renouncing all former Wills + Testaments, 
by me made, and do publish, pronounce testify and declare 
this and none other to be my last Will and Testament In 
witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 
twenty third day of October one thousand seven hundred and 
ninety nine
