Mrs. Thelma A. Buncie, 73, of Bradenville died Jan. 24, 1982, in Latrobe Area
Hospital. She was born in Indiana County May 9, 1909, a daughter of the late Harry
R. and Anna E. Stump Dias. She was a member of St. Rose Roman Catholic Church and a
retired employee of Toyad Corp. She was predeceased in death by three brothers. She
is survived by her husband, George T. Buncie Sr.; four sons, Donald E. of Latrobe RD
4, George T. Jr. and Roy, both of Jersey City, N.J., and Richard of Blairsville;
three daughters, Mrs. James (Margaret) Knupp of Luxor and Evelyn Buncie and Barbara
Buncie, both of Bradenville; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and
three sisters, Mrs. Lena James of Pleasant Unity, Mrs. Dollie Waldron of Millwood
and Mrs. Florence Emminger of Bradenville. The family will receive friends from 7 to
9 pm Monday and 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday in John J. Lopatich Funeral Home,
Latrobe. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9 am Wednesday in St. Rose Roman
Catholic Church with Rev Julius Stefurosky officiating. Interment will follow in St.
Rose Cemetery.
