New Castle News, November 18, 1911
Amos B. Cunningham, one of the best known residents of the 
county, died Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at his residence 
in Wayne township. He had been ill all summer and fall, 
suffering from a complication of stomach and heart diseases.

Mr. Cunningham had been a life-long resident of the 
township, and had spent practically all his life on the farm 
where he died. He was a member of the Slippery Rock 
Presbyterian Church. His age was 52 years, 2 months, and 16 
days.

Surviving to mourn his death are his wife and four children, 
William of Mahoningtown, Misses Ethel and Clara, and John 
Cunningham, all at home. He leaves also these brothers and 
sisters: Mrs. H. W. Guy of Perry township, Mrs. R.C. 
Shoemaker of Wayne township, Mrs. Fred Weingartner of 
Ellwood, R.S. Cunningham of Slippery Rock township, E.L. of 
Ellwood and Wylie Cunningham of Virginia. The deceased was 
an uncle of Mrs. A.M. Graham of Shaw street, this city.

Funeral services will be held Sunday morning at 11 o'clock 
in the Slippery Rock Presbyterian church, and interment will 
be made in the church cemetery.
