LEETONIA, Ohio Mary Jane Marshall, 71, of 10 West Main St., 
died at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday at Salem Community Hospital 
following a long illness. She was born Nov. 10, 1924 in 
Youngstown, the daughter of Frank Otto and Mary Jane 
McCreary Liston, and had lived in Leetonia for 32 years, 
coming from Columbiana. A homemaker, Mrs. Marshall had 
worked at various restaurants, working at Heck's Restaurant 
in Columbiana where she retired in 1953. She was a member of 
St. Jacob's Church of Christ where she had taught Sunday 
School.  She was a former member of the Columbiana Lions 
Club Auxiliary and was a 4-H leader. She is survived by her 
husband, Robert G. Marshall, Sr., whom she married April 15, 
1943: two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Melissa) Brown of 
Columbiana and Mrs. Rickey (Becky) Wilson of Sands, Mich.; a 
son, Robert G. Marshall, Jr. of Leetonia, a sister, Mrs. 
Robert (Rebecca) Eliser of Canfield; nine grandchildren and 
seven great-grandchildren.  A brother, William Loftus, is 
deceased. The Rev. Jerry Pearson of the church will conduct 
the services at 11 a.m. today at the Woods-Rettig Funeral 
Home. Burial will be made in Oakdale Cemetery. Memorial 
contributions may be made to the Salem Visiting Nurses.
