Albert C. "Buzz" Wheale, 66, of 224 Hawthorne St., a 
pipefitter for 41 years with the Baltimore & Ohio Railroad 
retiring in 1981, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital in 
Youngstown at 4 p.m. on March 8, 1987 following a brief 
illness. He was born in New Castle on Jan. 11, 1921, to 
Albert M. and Susan Eskew Wheale. He married the former Rose 
Venanso who died in December 1980.  He subsequently married 
the former Dottie McCreary.  She survives. He was a U. S. 
Navy veteran of World War II, serving on a submarine in the 
Pacific. Also surviving are a son Albert M. of New Castle; 
his mother, Susan Wheale of New Castle; a sister, Mrs. 
Donald (Ruth) Bees of Tidioute, Pa.; a brother, Robert of 
Englewood, Fla.; and two grandchildren. Also preceding in 
death were is father and a sister, June Bowen. Calling hours 
will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at R. Cunningham 
Funeral Home, Inc. 2429 Wilmington Road.  A service will be 
conducted at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Wednesday by the 
Rev. F. Dickson Marshall of the City Rescue Mission. Burial 
will be in Castle View Memorial Gardens. Memorial 
contributions may be made to the City Rescue Mission.
