Price sharimprice@softhome.net January 25, 2024, 11:25 am The New Castle News, (PA), 07-03-1985 LOWELLVILLE, Ohio - Mrs. Helen Kuhn McCreary, 83, of Seven Lakes, N.C., died at 10 p.m. June 30, 1985, at her daughter's residence in Seven Lakes. A former resident of Ambrosia Road, Edinburg RD1, she was born on Feb. 2, 1902, in Mahoning Township, Lawrence County, to Frank and Grace Cover Kuhn. She married Gail Borden McCreary on Nov. 17, 1921, who preceded her in death on Jan. 7, 1980. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Virginia Horchler of Seven Lakes and Mrs. Sally Brown of Youngstown: three granddaughters and two great-grandsons. She was also preceded in death by a son, Russell G. Sr., in November 1975: two brothers, Joseph and George: a sister, Mrs. Josephine Campbell and a grandson. There were no calling hours. A private service was held at 11 a.m. today in the Cunningham Funeral Home, 244 McGill St., Lowellville. The Rev. Edward Thompson of Mahoning Presbyterian Church, officiated. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery, New Bedford. Additional Comments: Originally submitted May 2004.
