New Castle News (PA), 04-26-1930
James M. McCreary, aged 68, of Mahoning township, died at 
the family home at 5 p.m. Friday, following a short illness. 
He was the son of Joseph and Nancy White McCreary and was 
born August 9, 1861.  He was a member of the Hillsville 
Baptist church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rhoda Book 
McCreary and a son Gail, at home. Funeral services will be 
held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. from the residence with interment 
in the Evergreen cemetery, New Bedford.

Funeral services for James M. McCreary, Mahoning township, 
were held from the family home Sunday at 2:30 with Rev. H. 
E. Montgomery of the Mahoning church officiating. 
Pallbearers were Lewis Aeppli, Fred Knoll, Francis Jacobson, 
Geo. Kuhn, T. W. Book and Newton Knoll. Interment was made 
in the Evergreen cemetery, New Bedford.
