New Castle News (PA), 12-21-1929
Mrs. Anna McFate, aged 74, widow of Alex McFate, died Friday 
at 4 p.m. at the Almira Home following a short illness.  She 
was born in North Beaver township in 1855, the daughter of 
Joseph and Nancy White McCreary.  She was a member of the 
Epworth M. E. church. She is survived by a brother, Mr. J. 
M. McCreary, of Edenburg, and a number of nieces and 
nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from 
the Almira Home with Rev. S. L. Maxwell officiating. 
Interment will be made in Hillsville cemetery.

Mrs. Anna McFate Funeral Funeral services were held Tuesday 
afternoon from the Almira Home for Mrs. Anna McFate, with 
Rev. S. L. Maxwell officiating,  Pallbearers were relatives 
of the deceased.  Interment was made in Hillsville cemetery.
