The Daily Republican Monongahela, PA 21 Nov 1901
BENJAMIN CRALL,  a freight conductor working on the Redstone 
branch was found dead in the seat of a passenger train 
Monday morning at Brownsville. He had been complaining of a 
cold and is supposed to have taken an over-dose of medicine. 
 Last night he was left to sleep in a seat of the passenger 
train and when the members of the crew tried to wake him up 
this morning they learned with horror that he had died 
sometime during the night. Deceased lived at Uniontown to 
which place the body was removed.  He leaves a wife and 
children.
