The Talbotton New Era - August 8, 1909
Died at her home in Bushnell, Florida, July 17th the sweet spirit of Mrs Ola
Griner, wife of Mr. Martin E. Griner and daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Zack Wilson of
Daviston, Georgia, winged its flight from earth to heaven. Her remains
accompanied by her husband and Mrs J. S. Griner of Hampton, Florida, were
brought to Howard, Georgia July 19th and interred in the cemetery at Daviston,
Georgia, surrounded by a large crowd of sorrowing relatives and friends. The
services were conducted by Rev. J. G. Harrison.

The passing away of this lovely young woman is sad. Only eight months ago she
was married to Mr. Griner and these few months were happy indeed. The husband
is almost heart broken.

Why she was taken so young with every promise for a bright useful life, We
know not but God knoweth. She spent several weeks with her mother, who is on
a bed of affliction and will soon be passing over too and does not know of her
daughters death. She returned to her home in Bushnell just three weeks ago
before she died and her grief for her mother, whom she left was almost
inconsolable. She left the sweet assurance that she was ready, that she
trusted God.

The inspiration of her sweet Christian life will live long in the hearts of
those who knew her. To fond husband, devoted father, brothers and sister we
can only point you to Jesus. He will comfort your wounded hearts. May you
find a refuge in this your hour of sorrow and grief. One Who Knew Her
