And now, to-wit:  January 4, 1864.  Letters of Administration granted to
Melinda PHILIPS.  Bond taken in the sum of Three thousand dollars with
Thomas IAMS and R. K. CAMPBELL as sureties.  Bond filed same day.

And now February 3d 1864 Inventory filed.  The above Letters were
properly stamped according to law.

Amount of this Inventory viz                               $1,291.72
Deduct the amount to be paid the widow out of the
assets to make up her Three Hundred Dollars--see the
Inventory of the goods taken by the widow--viz One
Hundred and Eighty one One (sic) Dollars and Seventy
five Cents,                                                   181.75
                                                           _________
                                                           $1,109.97
This amount to be accounted for by the Administratrix--
both Creditors and heirs viz Eleven Hundred and Nine
Dollars + Ninety seven cents, from this take the claim
of Stephen PIPES + Washington SCOLES--viz $77-- Seventy
seven Dollars--of _Doubtfull solvency_.

Inventory of the Goods which were of John PHILLIPS of Phelon late of
Morris Township Greene Co Pa dec,

You William CLUTTER and A. J. BARKER -- and each you do swear that you
will well and truely appraise the goods which were of John PHILLIP
aforesaid Decd, and in all respects, perform your duties as appraisers
without prejudice or (?), and to the best of your knowlege.

The final account of Malinda PHILLIPS Administratrix of John PHILLIPS
(of Phelon), late of Morris Township, Greene County, Pa, deceased, at
March Term 1865

(?)  The accountant charges herself with the receipt of the following
monies. viz:

Item 1  The amount of the Inventory filed in the Registers
          office Febry 3rd 1864                             $1,109.97
 "   2  Increase on the Note of Washington SCHOLES note          8.00
 "   3  To one bed-Stead not included in the Inventory           4.00

Malinda PHILLIPS being sworn according to law saith the above account is
just and true as stated to the best of her knowge (sic) and belief.
