The Will of the Late Leroy Hartley Admitted to
Probate, In Which He Makes Liberal
Distribution to His Relatives

	The executors of the will of the late Leroy Hartley of Monongahela Township, 
were here Monday, and filed the will.  The estate is quite valuable, and the testator 
distributed the same to his relatives.  In view of the wide distribution and the desire 
among the people of the community where the deceased resided, we publish the 
bequests.   He gave to Cynthia Hartley $4,000, along with a note he held against 
her; Francis M. Morgan, $500;  Ella Morgan, $100;  $1,000  to executors in trust for 
Ellis Parker, this sum to be paid to Ellis Parker, if living, at the final settlement of the
 estate; New Providence Presbyterian church, $100; $100 to the trustees of the same
 church, which is to be invested and annual interest applied in caring for the cemetery; 
500 to each of the following persons - Noah Minor, John E. Minor, Noah Minor, son of 
John P. Minor, Josie Minor, daughter of Philip Minor, Laura Minor, daughter of J. P. Minor, 
deceased; Caroline Minor, wife of  Oliver Sicklesmith, the heirs of William Boughner, 
$500; to the children of A. V. Boughner, $500; Leroy Hartley, a namesake, $100; 
Jacob Leroy Ewart, son of Frank Ewart, $100; the children of Noah Hartley, of Carmichaels, 
$500; heirs of Thomas Houston, $700; the daughter of Calvin and Rebecca Hart, $300; 
Frank Ewart, $100; Rev. William Hudson, $100;  $300 each to Rebecca K., Mary A., and 
Elizabeth Hartley, daughters of Benjamin Hartley; Leslie Carter Hartley, $300 , and 
should this beneficiary not be living, then the same is to be distributed equally between 
his four half-sisters; Eunice A. M. Evans, of Wahoo, Neb., $400; Joseph Minor, son of 
Philip Minor, $300; Reamer Minor, $300; Cynthia Hartley, Ellie Parker and Francis M. 
Morgan were given a bed each.  He directs his executors to erect a granite monument 
to his grave, pay all expenses and debts, and the residue of the estate is to be divided 
equally among the legatees.  The executors are directed to dispose of the estate to the 
best advantage, and should it be deemed best to hold the farm, for any time, the farm 
is to be under the control of Daniel Stevenson, son of James Stevenson, deceased.
