Greene County, Pennsylvania

Will of ADAM GEHO (II)

Know all men by these presents, that I, ADAM GEHO, of Jackson Township,
Greene County and State of Pennsylvania, being in ill health and of sound
and disposing mind and memory, do make and publish this my last will and
testament.  And as to my worldly estate and all the property real, personal
or mixed of which I shall die seized or possessed or to which I shall be
entitled to a the time of my decease.  I devise, bequeath and dispose of in
the manner following, to-wit:

My will is that all my just debts and funeral expenses shall by my executors
hereinafter named be paid out of my estate as soon after my decease as shall
by them be found convenient.  I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, ZEBIAH
[GARRISON] GEHO, the use of all my property both personal and real and the
interest of all money on usury (after paying my just debts and funeral
expenses) without appraisement for her own use so long as she shall live and
at her death to be disposed of and divided as follows:

I give and bequeath to my daughter MARIA ABIGAL, intermarried with JAMES L.
COLE, Fifty dollars in cash and one single coverlit, and the same to my
daughter ELLEN, intermarried to JOHN LOUGH, and the same to my daughter,
ELIZABETH, intermarried with GEORGE COLE, and to my daughter, MISSOURIE,
intermarried with EPHRIM COLE, I give one single coverlit.  And to my
daughter, MARY, I give one cow and shote.  And to my granddaughter, MARTHA
JANE GEHO [daughter of, WILLIAM GARRISON GEHO], I give Twenty five dollars
and its interest when she arrives at the age of Eighteen years.

All the rest and residue of my estate real, personal or mixed of which I
shall died seized and possessed or to which I shall be entitled to at my
decease, all property real and personal to be sold and converted into money
and all moneys I give devise and bequeath to be equally divided among my
aforesaid and herinafter named daughters: Viz:  CHRISTIAN, intermarried with
WILFORD EMERY; MARIA ABIGAL COLE, MARY GEHO, KESIAH widow of DAVID YAGER,
MISSOURIE COLE, ELLEN LOUGH and ELIZABETH COLE. [Unnamed children of ADAM
GEHO: BENJAMIN GEHO, died 1864; GEORGE L. GEHO, died 1847; CHARLOTTE L.,
died 1857; WILLIAM GARRISON GEHO, died 1923.]

And lastly I do nominate and appoint EPRIAM COLE and T. T. WILLIAMS, to be
the Executors of this my last will and testament.

In testimony whereof, I the said ADAM GEHO, have to this my last will and
testament subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 22 day of April, A.
D., 1871.

Received of EPRIAM COLE  and T. T. WILLIAMS, Executors of the estate of ADAM
GEHO, deceased, one cow and one shote willed to me by my Father above named.
Signed MARY (her mark), Minor.  Attested to, and Recorded June 8, 1898.

Received of T. T. WILLIAMS, one of the Executors of the last will and
testament of my grandfather, ADAM GEHO, deceased FORTY FOUR 34/100 dollars
in full.  It being twenty five dollars and its interest from his decease May
4, 1871, to this date as willed to me by him.  Signed, MARTHA J. GEHO.
Attested to by WILLIAM GEHO, and Recorded June 8, 1898 by L. NICHOLS,
Register.
