No. 1418 Will of SAMUEL GARNER  Will Book 3, pp. 82, 83.

Know all men by these presents that I Samuel Garner, Sr. of Washington
Twp., Greene County, Pennsylvania, being of Sound mind and memory (blesed
 {sic} be to God) but weak and frail in boddy (sic) and knowing the
uncernity (sic) of death do mak (sic) this my last will and testament
revoking all former wills maid (sic) by me, and at my deth (sic) 1st I
will as much of my household furniture to my wife Catharine as she may
please to keep.
2nd I will and bequeath after all my honest debt is paid out of the
proceds (sic) of the notes that I hold against Samuel Garner and Mathew
Garner.  That my wife Catharine have a decent living out of the balance
during her Natural life.
3rd  I will that after my death that my Executors have my real Estate
appraised by Three Good Judicious citizens and that they Sell the Same
within two years from that time at least making it to be paid in three
equal payments if they canot (sic) Sell it a priveet (sic) Sale to Sell
it at publick (sic) Sale:  dividing the proceeds of it and all of my
other estate equally among my childern (sic) to the heirs of Mary Heafer
Deceased, to Nancy intermarried with George Palmore to Isaac Garner to
Susannah intermarried with Joseph Potts to Frances intermarried with John
Reynlds (sic) to Henry Garner also I will and bequeath to my grandson
Jackson Smally twenty five dollars to be paid out of the procees (sic) of
the nots (sic) that I hold against Samuel and Mathew Garners when come
due over what it takes to keep my wife Catharine.  My two Sons Samuel
Garner and Mathew Garner having receved (sic) their Shares when They
bought Their Land of me; my daughter Nancy Palmer to receve (sic) her
Share as follows in payments of fifteen dollars annuelly (sic) untill
(sic) She receves (sic) her equal Share.
I hereby constitute and ordain my two Sons Samuel and Mathew Garner my
Sole Executors.
Witness my hand and Seal August the first one Thousand Eight hundred and
fifty one.

Before me R. D. Mickle, Register for the Probate of wills and Granting
Letters of Administration in and for Said County This day Personally Came
Thomas W. Taylor, Esqr. and Gorge (sic) Keigley who after being dully
(sic) affirmed acording (sic) to Law Depose and Say that they wer (sic)
present and saw and herd (sic) Samuel Garner The within names Testator
Sign Seal Publish and declare the within writen (sic) instrument to be
his Last will and testament and at the time of so doing he was of Sound
Mind Memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief
and That They Sign it at his request and in his Presence affirmed and
subscribed before me This 25 day of August A.D. 1851
