In the Name of God Amen, I Elisha Dunham of Fayette County and
State of Pennsylvania, Being sick and weak in body, but in perfect
mind and memory, thnaks be, unto God, Calling into mind the
Mortallity of the Body and Knowing that, it is appointed for all men
once to Die; do make and ordain this my last will and Testament.
That is to say Principally and first of all, I give and recomend my soul
into the Hands of Almighty God that gave it and my Body to be buried
at the discretion of my Executors, Heare in after named. And as touching
such worldly Estate wherewith it hath pleased God to bless me in this
life- That after my funeral expences and just debts are paid, my will is that
the whole of my personal and Real Estate shall remain in the hands of my
Beloved wife Lydia Dunham During her Natural Life or widowhood and
that the profits therefrom arising to be applyed to the maintanatice of and
Educating of my Children-- and support of my widow-- 2nd and should
my Executors deem it expedient and nessary for the comfort and support
of my widow and Children I order and direct them or the survivors of them
to sell my Real Estate and to be applyed to their necessity, at the discretion
of the Executors-- 3rd in case of the death of my widow my will is that the
whole of my Estate should be equally divided among my children, share
and share alike.  4th and in case that my wife Lydia Dunham should marry
and my Executors not have thought proper to have sold the Real Estate, 
in that case my will is that the Orphans Court should appoint two Judicious
Freeholders to value my Estate and two thirds of the yearly value thereof
to be paid to them oe their legal representatives or Guardians to be applyed
to their benefit-- 5th And Lastly I do hereby appoint my Beloved wife Lydia 
Dunham-- Samuel Sacket and L. Thomas Dunham Executors to this my
last will and Testament , revoking all others, In witness whereof I do hereto
set my hand and affix my seal, this fifteenth day of February in the year of
our Lord Eighteen hundred and twenty four.

On the second day of March Anno Domini 1824, personally appeared before me, 
Alexander McClean, Register for the Probate of Wills and Granting Letters of
Administration in and for said County, Thomas Green & Samuel Sackett  two
of the Subscribing witnesses to the foregoing last will and Testament and on 
their solemn attestations, did severally declare and say that they saw the
Testator when of disposing mind & memory sign the foregoing as and for
his last will and Testament and that they heard him Acknowledge the same,
as such that they know of no undue influence used or later will be made by
said deceased. In Testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal of
the Registers Office at Uniontown the day and year aforesaid.
